El Pedregal

A natural wonder

Situated on 18 acres of land at the edge of town, surrounded by the protected green space of Parque La Colorada, El Pedregal is a beautiful oasis our family created to offer a unique experience for visitors to Álamos where there is close contact with nature.

We have protected and cared for the land and forest since we became its stewards in 2005. With tall columnar cactus and many flowering trees and bushes, there is always something to marvel at. Birds love the oasis of El Pedregal and are a regular part of the sounds and sights. Tortoises, rabbits and iguanas are resident mascots.

The main lodge and dining room are situated in the heart of El Pedregal. There is a saltwater pool, palapa by the bird feeders, outdoor sala with a fire place, a strawbale building yoga studio, massage/treatment room and eight comfortable adobe casitas.

Each casita has its own charm and they all come equipped with a small fridge, coffee and tea, purified water, hair dryers and shampoo/conditioner and soap. They also have high-speed internet, AC, heat and fans for the comfort and convenience of our guests. Stone paths through the forest connect the casitas with the common areas. Last but not least, every corner of El Pedregal offers spectacular views of the mountain.
